Balanced Social Commitments

I think I resonate with this article due more to my introverted nature than my busy social commitments. Truly, social engagements for me are scarce these days. Perhaps because I learned some of the principles drawn from this article intuitively. Limiting how many times I book myself a week (eh, a month). Intentionally connecting with friends in ways that make the most sense based on the current circumstances of our friendship. Learning to be giving of my time while also guarding enough of it for self-care. A well-regulated life definitely lives to a well lived life. And this spills over into our relationships.
