Marrying (Too) Young?

When people talk about social justice, one of the things we often talk about is delaying the age at which girls marry in order to improve their possibility for education and economic advancement. And yet, in many states here in the United States, people are still allowed to marry as children. And not just teenagers marrying other teenager. Often, it involves teenage girls marrying (much) older men. Should this be so?
